Tomorrow Hub is excited to announce its participation in the training course “Youth Work is PART-Y” in the scenic city of Florence, Italy, that took place from 4th to 11th July, 2024.
The PART-Y training course brought together NGOs, youth workers, and experts from across Europe with the shared goal of enhancing knowledge and understanding of youth participation. The course offered a unique platform to delve into methodologies and techniques that can be applied in various contexts, both locally and transnationally. Our involvement in this training is a testament to our commitment to fostering environments where young people can thrive and actively contribute to their communities.
The training course focused on several key objectives, each designed to deepen our collective understanding and practice of youth participation:
In-Depth Study on Youth Participation: Participants engaged in comprehensive discussions and workshops to build a common ground of knowledge and expertise on youth participation. This foundational understanding is crucial for developing effective strategies that encourage active youth involvement.
Sharing and Exchange of Practices: The event promoted the sharing, exchange, and critical analysis of both conventional and innovative concepts and practices centered on youth participation. This collaborative approach allowed participants to learn from each other’s experiences and adopt best practices.
Reflection on Competencies: Reflective sessions focused on identifying and enhancing the competencies needed to implement quality participatory projects and processes. These discussions were instrumental in helping participants recognize and develop the skills required to facilitate meaningful youth engagement.
Exploration of Erasmus+ Opportunities: The training course also explored how the Erasmus+ program can support the development of participatory activities. By leveraging these opportunities, organizations like Tomorrow Hub can expand their initiatives and reach a broader audience.
